![]() ![]() I have both the "green" and the "red" MS FFB2 and can't tell the difference between the two in use with IL2 1946 or RoF if the red one has a better FFB chip it doesn't make more than a very subtle difference. The red ones are the more preferred of the two, but the first-gen green ones can still hold their own. The second revision has a rubberized handle, red 3, 4, and trigger buttons, silver base buttons, and a red base light. The first revision has black 3 and 4 buttons, a silver trigger, black base buttons, and a green base light. If by any chance you forget to connect the power cord, the stick will work.without force feedback, and the light on the base will blink to remind you of this oversight.Īlso worth knowing is that there are two revisions of the SWFFB2. ![]() The good thing about the power cable, though, is that it's a very simple two-pin cable, like the sort the original Xbox used. Manual isn't necessary, but it would be nice for completeness' sake. No advanced functionality at the driver level, but most sims these days (DCS series included) let you do all the necessary tweaking (axis curves, shift buttons, etc.) in-game. With Windows 7, all the support you get is plug-and-play. If you do want the XP drivers, I could upload them somewhere for you. ![]() The CD won't be of much use to you on any OS later than XP.
